A lively new interpretation of an old art form called penny rugs. Usually done in the deep, muted tones of wool felt, ours are carnival bright using synthetic felt. Layers are joined using technique called felting, that requires nothing more than an inexpensive felting tool and felting mat available at craft stores. Includes complete instructions for three projects (a Wind Wand, a pin cushion, a tote), as well a lesson in felting and penny rugs.
